Being member in the Visitor Group I am regularly informed about events.

Music and dance takes place on Thursdays on the pier at 11:00 am. (SLT) (20:00 MEZ)

Angus, Anja, Danny, they talk German, and each brings own program to the people. They stream music themed like Neue Deutsche Welle and Rock'n'Roll and Pop of the 1970s and Musical. They are nice, and they even fulfill unusual music requests! (Of course, I care that my request suits the theme of the evening.)

I always like to be here. And I persuade friends to come along. For example, you see me together with my Amayuma on one of the photos. We particularly like the cheerful mood among nice people. Also the seaside climate contributes to this, characterizing this island.

Come, and join in: Teleport to Auroro

Auroro is one of my favorite destinations in Second Life. I just like the pleasant atmosphere near the sea.

The landing point is on the avenue of the town. Here is a visitor's pavilion furnished. I also find shops, a café, even a ballroom.

There is also a hovering cube. When I touch it, I can become member of the Visitor Group. Incidentally, that's free. Being member of this group I am regularly informed about events.

By the water are the main pier, a jetty, a complete airfield. There is a lot to discover here!

On Auroro one can also live for rent.

At the city wall there is a board. There are teleport marks attached which lead to some places on Auroro.

Well, there are several ways to explore the island. First, I can just take a walk. This way I always discover the most.

In the harbor I also can take one of the boats. Here you see me taking part in a tour. This leads from the main pier along the west coast. Then it's a way along the south coast. The ship stops in between several times. More than once I just get out and enjoy the surroundings. The ship is back soon.

At the airfield various aircraft are offered. Some fly on a fixed route. Some I can control myself. This time I decide for the chic helicopter.

Inside the island there is also a hot air balloon and a glider. Just try it!

Dorina and Babilonto create the most from their own hands. They barely buy anything on the Second Life Marketplace. The other way around, they offer a lot of their creations in the shop, as well on the Marketplace. I find the love of design gives this island its charm. On Auroro I also like to share a walk with my girlfriends.

This bell tower is great. When I touch it, the bells sound such loud that you hear them on the whole island. Are you all awake now?

This church I must visit. It is about the heart, I consider.

Certainly, I have not dscovered everything yet. Will you help me?

Auroro — Esperanto values your language

We all are humans, am I right? We all share the same wishes, dreams, fears, needs. So why are we separated by borders and languages?

Well, on Auroro I meet language like Hungarian, German, English, Russian. I think I do not know all of them yet. But on this island the different languages are not an obstacle, but a treasure.

And above all, Esperanto is promoted!

Is Esperanto inhabitants’ first language? Is it official language on Auroro? Not quite, I would say. Let me try to explain.

In fact, Dorina and Babilonto welcome any language on Auroro. They attach great importance to this! Years ago, when Babilonto came to Second Life, Esperanto was his drive. And still is. In Second Life he met Dorina, and they became a couple. Together they created the island of Auroro and set up their home here. Dorina being teacher in her real life, they both support Esperanto now.

Esperanto is a constructed language. Vocabulary and grammar are formed from the languages of the peoples. The goal is to create possibly a common world language.

I imagine that the languages serve as a construction set. Chatting simply in my own tongue, I am already contributing to the development of Esperanto. – A nice thought!

So I do not have to learn Esperanto to find my way around here. I simply chat my own language. It takes only goodwill. Additionally, there are translation aids in the Second Life, and they are easy to use.

And if I want to learn and talk Esperanto myself, I simply ask Dorina and Babilonto. They are nice and will help me.

Homaro havas multajn lingvojn, sed nur unu koron.

Angel Manor Estate — masterpiece of immersion

This Estate, currently 12 Sims, is a park and castle landscape of the highest quality. Really now! You can wonderful promenade through the parkland and explore the castle grounds. I do not know everything here yet. But what I already know impresses me a lot. My own viewer settings kneel and ask for mercy facing this immersive masterpiece!

Kaya Angel is the owner and builder of this property. Myself, I got to know it through a girlfriend. Since then, this property has been one of my favorite destinations.

I myself could not meet the inhabitants yet. But I have already visited a dignified picture gallery and talked with visitors. They value chic and like to be aristocratic, even royal. But one should not confuse this with roleplay.

They speak mainly English here, certainly. Here I find boards with informations:
Angel Manor Estate

On the Homepage the estate is presented. Clicking the tab ABOUT US and scrolling down to “History”, I read Kaya Angel explaining: Although Angel Manor Estate is set in modern day, it also follows many of the old traditions established in the Edwardian period of Britain. Above all, the property pursues the claim of achieving the highest quality of immersion. At the same time, they strive to find ways for to serve the community.

Worth seeing!

Some areas are probably reserved for exclusive folks. I could rent here, if something was free. The rents are mainly at 3,300 L$ per week. (From 2,000 up to 9,000 L$) That I do not convert now into US-$ or other currencies.
