On Thursday fortnightly, merfolk of all species gather at Aruba subsea dome. Invitations are sent via group channel. You can find the date in my calendar as well.

The merdance dome welcomes new guests again and again. The conversations of all the dance guests are witty and stimulating. But many enjoy just drifting in this colorful subsea world, far from leggers‘ affairs.

May I introduce?

The new theater STARFISH showcases short movies from the Internet. I was able to get hold of a new projector. It brings not only movies from the platform YouTube, but also Vimeo on the screen. So I hope to expand the selection and improve the artifical quality.

STARFISH is advertised in Dreamshire Estate as well. Aruba and Dreamshire are friends!

There are tissues for you at the entrance desk. They do be necessary for some movies! In the foyer you will see posters that advertise the current movies. Ice cream and popcorn are also available. Joyce and I have picked out fancy chairs. Stirrups on their sides may be helpful to get into a chair when the row is crowded. If you touch the ticket under the screen, it will offer information for you to use. If there are any other problems, please contact me directly!

There is a tracker under the ceiling of the hall. It greets you via LocalChat when you enter the building. At the same time, it sends me a brief message. This way I stay informed about the flow of visitors. (It does not record anything about your behavior or conversation. It does not spy!) If you have been watching movies, then you do NOT need to reset the screen settings! The next time I go around, I'll see that it's been used. I can clean it up myself.

Upstairs you can visit the restaurant. It offers a nice view into the garden.

The guestbook in the foyer is looking forward to your entries.

The garden in front of the cinema building invites you to linger. The little animals here don't bite. On the tree trunk you can carve into the heart that you love each other. In the pavilion you can snuggle up in the blanket by the fireplace, keep the kittens company and watch my own little movies.

Membership in our group is not a requirement. However, it will keep you up to date on the movie program and all the activities in Aruba and Dreamshire.

from BIRDLIGHTS to STARFISH — why I changed

The year 2021 somehow did not go as I had imagined. I continued to participate in the usual dance and party events. But I increasingly doubted myself and my ideas. I terminated my cinema businesses BIRDLIGHTS and BIRDOLUMOJ, and I gave up the lands. I wanted to look for new ideas.

Then something unexpected happened.

Suddenly, the maintainers of the community The Merfolk of Aruba approached me. Joyce Travels and Jon offered me to set up a new, larger cinema in their region Aruba Deep. They generously provided me with land and buildings.

I was touched. Their offer was sincere. And I remembered my original ambition to create a cultural and entertainment offer.

So I grabbed it!

calendar entry — Miss Violet's Garden Party

In the Second Life there are some dance & music events I like to join in. A few of them I am putting into my calendar and introduce to you. They meet regularly. Music and atmosphere are teasing. I meet nice people there, even new friends. — Take a try!

The Moon Rabbit Café teleport

The quaint Moon Rabbit Café is located on an idyllic Mainland road. The lake belonging to the house is frozen now in winter, ice skates invite to skate. The terrace is comfortably furnished and invites to linger convivially.

On Tuesdays, Miss Violet hosts a garden party. Every first Friday of the month, as well. Here, sociable and friendly people meet under a cheerful sky and enjoy Violet's invigorating music selection.

Again, I am going to spend a varied weekend with the narrow gauge railroad. With the Zany Zen Railway, I easily travel with a free permanent ticket. My escort does not fit to be a stowaway, anyway.

At the Little Coverston terminus, we change to the new pedestrian ferry. Although Zen insists that the ferry is still under development & far from being ready. But when we hear the loudspeaker announcement on the platform in Little Coverston, I can't hold back my companion.

Covid 19 Vaccination — the real help

Now I abuse Second Life for real help. — Even more, I ask you for support!

I simply fed my internet browser with keywords like "Covid 19" and "vaccination". Then I looked at several images and copied one of them to my hard drive. Using some software, I tagged it with the text you can read here. I uploaded the edited image to my Second Life inventory and pasted it on a poster board.I didn't care about possible copyrights in this case.

I put up the finished billboard at the entrance of my cinema garden BIRDLIGHTS, right next to Zen Swords-Galway's famous train THE ZANY ZEN RAILWAY. Zen herself agrees with this. And I know she has personal reasons for that.

Now get your own shots if you somehow can! (In Germany, the conditions are very favorable at the moment.) After that, you can take the train and go to the movies.

Where've You Been? visits the BIRDLIGHTS cinema

A few days ago, Caledonia Skytower & Elrik Merlin from the Virtual Community Radio (VCR) approached me. And I was flabbergasted when they explained their request to me.

For their feature series Where've you been?, Caledonia & Merlin suggested to produce an issue on my cinema company BIRDLIGHTS & BIRDOLUMOJ!

Due to different online times, we unfortunately didn't get to meet in person on the grid. But I noticed their serious interest & conscientious commitment. So I answered their interview questions as expeditiously & as comprehensively as I could.

Now two days ago Caledonia told me the broadcast dates! - On their homepage they present my cinema company aptly, I get proud!
